The Sales Representative position is progressive and has multiple options for advancement towards other positions within the company.

  • Commission, salary, and profit-sharing tier structures for successful candidates
  • Paid travel and food expenses
  • Advancement to one of the following full time positions: Sales Associate, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Marketing Manager (increased salary and passive income)
  • International and governmental exposure in the renewable energy market
  • This position starts as full-time or part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Daily prospecting: sourcing potential clients in the residential, commercial, and industrial markets in Costa Rica, Central America, and the Caribbean
  • Meeting with potential clients, assessing their energy needs, and presenting our company’s solutions
  • Closing deals, maintaining excellent long-term company/client relations and satisfaction
  • Presenting our company at national and international shows and expos
  • Managing accounts for personally referred affiliates

Requirements:

  • Verifiable experience in sales and marketing
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish – English) additional languages are a definite asset
  • Ability to work independently

The Sales Manager will perform all the duties of the Sales Associate position in addition to managing the sales associates and their accounts.

  • Commission, salary, and profit-sharing tier structures for successful candidates
  • Paid travel and food expenses provided when applicable
  • Earn a commission percentage from all sales associate’s active accounts
  • International and governmental exposure in the renewable energy market

Duties will include:

  • Daily prospecting: sourcing potential clients in the residential, commercial, and industrial markets in Costa Rica, Central America, and the Caribbean
  • Meeting with potential clients, assessing their energy needs, and presenting our company’s solutions
  • Closing deals, maintaining excellent long-term company/client relations and satisfaction

  • Managing their sales associates team and carrying out sales and marketing tasks set by the CMO

  • Prior experience in managing teams

  • Currently, have or is capable of building a ‘book of business’ during the training period

As our company expands, we are searching for more staff in different regions to fulfill our new and future client’s needs. An essential part of our team is the Solar Installer & Electrical Engineer. Knowledge, experience, and a joy of putting energy systems together is what this successful applicant will have.

Responsibilities:

  • Point person for installation of solar systems and associated electrical work
  • Visit client sites and evaluate the potential system requirements
  • Assist in the design and planning of the solar system
  • Present the system design to ICE, CNFL, Etc. and obtain the required permits
  • Liaison with ICE, CNFL, Etc. and their engineers to expedite the system installation process
  • Manage installation staff and electricians on-site
  • Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge regarding the solar and energy generation industry by attending educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professionals, and reviewing industry publications
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of system design
  • Responsible for developing standards and promoting activities that enhance operational procedures
  • Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance
  • Coordinate with office and sales staff to ensure maximum time/location efficiency
  • Organize orientation and training of new installation staff members
  • Establish and monitor procedures for record keeping
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of client data
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment and ensure staff wears appropriate hazard equipment

Requirements:

  • Has obtained and maintained the necessary credentials of an Electrical Engineer and is able to work in Costa Rica
  • Proven experience in solar installation, consultancy or design
  • Knowledge of solar system installation, permitting, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is often the first point of contact a new potential client will have with a business when they are seeking information on the products and services the company provides. The BDM also responds to RFP’s, tenders, and develops sales in new sales territories (countries). The BDM recieves an executive level salary.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 3+ years Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
